Infant Bodysuits - Comfortable And Safe Clothing Options For Any Infant

By Lilah Frank

Are you going to a baby shower soon and do not know what to get the expecting mother? Well, don't panic too much. Don't go with the tired old rattle. Instead, get them an infant bodysuit. These are a staple in infant clothing. They also look adorable on any baby, no matter if they're a boy or a girl.

Having an infant body suit makes dressing baby a snap. When babies are newborn, they squirm a lot. These suits make it easy to put the clothes on.

The classic look for an infant body suit if yellow for sex neutrality, then pink for girls, and blue for boys. Many new mommies follow this religiously, but they are neglecting the tons of different colors that are out there for baby body suits. If you already know the sex, then pick the color accordingly, but if you do not, then pick something that is a bit more neutral. Regardless, the baby will look cute in whatever color you choose.

You'll find a plethora of colors, patterns, and prints when it comes to infant suits. Many moms like to have a particular baby themed character for their baby's fashions - like Minnie Mouse, Dora the Explorer, Bob the Builder, or themes like jungle baby animals, etc.

Although there exists tons of materials that are used when making infant bodysuits, none are nearly as popular among would-be moms and dads than organic cotton is and for good reason. Organic cotton is milled and manufactured using real cotton plants that have never been treated with pesticides or chemicals.

It is a bit more expensive to get organic cotton, but it is definitely worth it, because it is far more durable than traditional cotton. This means that the purchase you make in this type of baby clothing will probably outlast the baby after he or she grows out of it.
